Course programme

Will aim to give an introduction to the impressive range of art produced during the difficult and challenging times of the World War I era. Artists will include, among others, Stanley Spencer, Paul Nash and Wyndham Lewis and we will consider War Memorials and their significance. We will look briefly at some poetry of the time where appropriate. Was full in the summer term and is repeated now for those who missed it.
