History
Southend Counselling Services offer Professional, unique and personal workshops with small classes of 6-8 ensuring the environment is warm,welcoming and relaxed.
Carly and Sophie are qualified counsellors & Psychotherapists and members of the BACP (British Counselling and Psychotherapy)
Carly worked in Education as a pastoral care keyworker and counsellor for over 13 years. Carly has trained in Supporting Positive Change, Managing and Helping People in Crisis & Childline Peer Support. Carly has experience delivering workshops in Basic Counselling skills and Positive communication. She holds an enhanced CRB check.
Sophie holds a Certificate in Education and has experience of teaching Psychotherapy & Self Development courses at South East Essex College. Sophie has worked at ParentlinePlus now known as Family Lives, dealing with parenting and teenage problems. Sophie also worked within the NHS as a Psychotherapist and has had her own Private Practice in Southend for the last 6 years.
