Teaching and Assessment Teaching The College of Health and Life Sciences uses many innovative teaching and learning methods to balance professional training with academic excellence. Assessment You will be assessed through a range of essays, projects, examinations and practice assessments. These are handed in at different stages of the year. How many hours of study are involved? On the full-time course you will attend the University two days a week and spend two days in practice. On the part-time course (two years), you will attend University one day a week and spend one day in practice. Please note the academic year is 12 months long.
