It is suitable for teaching assistants, learning support assistants, parent support advisors, learning mentors or those in similar roles at level 3.

Course programme
Entry Requirements
You will need to be working at level 2 English or hold a GCSE grade C/4 or above. You will also need to be working, volunteering or on a practical placement for a minimum of 16 hours per week. Complete Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks will be required. The full time 16-18 & HE courses cover DBS as part of the induction. Learners must be 19 years and over.
Delivery and Assessment
Assessment of skills in the Real Working environment is facilitated by an assessor alongside knowledge units which are assessed by a tutor.
