About this course
This course is free if you are aged between 19 and 23 and you don t yet have a full level 2 or 3 qualification (depending on your level of study). Otherwise, a fee is payable. You need to be in full-time employment in the industry as a steward and have your manager’s permission to take the course. Additionally GCSE grade 4/C or equivalent in maths and English is desirable.

You will gain knowledge and understanding in the following areas: managing conflict; contributing to the work of the team; preparing for spectator events; dealing with accidents and emergencies; controlling the entry, exit and movement of people at spectator events; monitoring spectators and deal with crowd problems; and also learning more about the Green Guide.
