This unique course provides a perspective student opportunity to develop and deliver their skills in a variety of key areas. As well as combining the practical and theoretical elements of Physical Education and Human Movement, the student will also be taught the theoretical underpinnings of Sport from a socio-cultural perspective. Students will have the opportunity of a work placement in their second year and there is potential for students to undertake a sandwich year between second and third year. As sport incorporates many disciplines, this programme gives the student more options as the courses progresses, so that students can follow a path of strength for them. The opportunities offered throughout this programme will help to strengthen the students profile and experience and the regular links made within industry will make the student an attractive candidate for post graduate study or for when they enter the job market.
