Content

FdA graduates who apply must be experienced in journalism. You must also be able to demonstrate competence to an appropriate level to enter the Honours year in Sports Journalism. Your suitability will be explored at interview and through the submission of a portfolio or alternative to demonstrate work.

The theoretical aspects of Honours-level work will be explored through a dissertation or equivalent. Practical journalism skills will be developed through a portfolio of in-depth investigative sports stories, at least two of which will have an international dimension. You will need to demonstrate willingness and readiness to undertake extended academic writing, but you will be supported in this area by a bridging unit in the summer prior to enrolment and by the LCC Study Support Department.

Assessment
