Course programme
You will need a keen interest in Sports Massage and show a basic understanding of Anatomy and Physiology. Although no formal qualifications are required you may be asked to attend an interview for entry to the course.
You will complete a portfolio of written evidence, take part in practical assessments, sit an externally set multiple choice test on Anatomy and Physiology and complete 50 hours of Sports Massage.
On completion of the qualification you will be equipped to work in an unsupervised capacity as a sports massage practitioner in the sport and leisure industry. The qualification also provides progression to additional qualifications at Level 3 and Level 4.
