About the course Sport Studies BA (Hons) is principally oriented towards the study of sport through the social sciences. International experts will teach you how participation and performance in sport and physical activity can be deconstructed through the distinct academic disciplines of, Sport Sociology, Social Psychology, Sport Management, Qualitative Research and Health. You will be able to make evidence based decisions about appropriate coaching or instruction and /or management within sport and physical activity and you will develop an understanding of sport in relation to wider societies. On this course you have opportunities to gain coaching awards, volunteer, study in the USA, and Europe and to work abroad – we help you build your CV and employability skills ready for your first job or further degree study.
