The programme is designed to provide a detailed and varied understanding of sports studies, combining traditional elements such as psychology, physiology, teaching and coaching methods and sociology, with contemporary modules such as performance analysis, strength and conditioning, nutrition, and exercise for special populations. Careful consideration has been given to ensure assessments are related to real life scenarios, and condensed timetables mean combining education and employment is a viable option. The applied nature of course is reflected in the success of our graduates, who regularly progress to work as PE teachers, personal trainers, sports coaches, and performance analysts.
