A particular feature of the course is that you’ll also get hands-on experience through our fully equipped sports therapy clinic, which is open to the public for consultation and treatment.

During your foundation year the focus will be on providing you with the study skills and fundamental scientific knowledge that will help you prepare for the subsequent three years of your studies. You’ll receive excellent support from tutors and services at the University, which will help you to succeed academically and prepare you for a career after graduation.

The foundation year will be shared with students from other specialisms within the School of Human Sciences, which will present the perfect opportunity to meet other students and learn about other scientific disciplines.

After your foundation year you will join students on the standard three-year course, studying the same content and having the same module choices. To find out more about the subsequent three years of your study visit the Sports Therapy BSc (Hons) course page. If at the end of your foundation year you’d like to change your specialism there will be some flexibility to do so.
