SQL Server 2000 Administration

AUDIENCE: System administrators and database administrators who implement and manage a Microsoft SQL Server 2000 RDBMS. Database developers who need to know more about the administration of SQL Server 2000. This course gives an essential grounding for the Microsoft examination 70-028 Administering Microsoft SQL Server 2000.
PREREQUISITES: Delegates should have a good working knowledge of relational databases and be competent in SQL. Delegates should have a good working knowledge of Windows 2000/2003 Server. Attendance on our Windows 2000/2003 Server Administration class would achieve this.
DURATION: 3 days. Hands on.
OBJECTIVES: The course will allow delegates to identify and configure all major aspects of a Microsoft SQL Server 2000 RDBMS. It shows how to install and configure an SQL Server, create and manage databases and database devices, backup and restore SQL databases, import and export data, implement automated tasks and optimise the SQL server.
