Learning outcomes and objectives

  • To understand how an individual’s absence can impact on the performance of the whole team.
  • To look at ways of managing absence issues constructively and fairly.

Our team leader training is accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), and is delivered with a total focus on the management of care services. It links with many aspects of the Registered Manager Award NVQ, by providing underpinning knowledge.

Half day courses usually run from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. / 1.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.

All management training and NVQ assessment can be provided to team leaders in their own place of work with one-to-one support from a dedicated St Monica Trust trainer/assessor.
