Course programme
You will begin with some practice in cutting on plain glass before starting on your chosen design. There will be a selection of coloured glass available for the group to share and you will be shown how to cut shapes to fit your cutting template. Coloured glass will be mounted to the easel to monitor progress before the panel is assembled with lead. Finally the piece will be soldered and cemented to weatherproof. You will have to do the final cleaning at home.
There will be group demonstrations of skills and individual guidance and help throughout the course. This is a physically demanding course which does require good manual dexterity.Stained Glass Making
