About this course
Work alongside key opinion leaders in the field of business and medical research in cellular therapies. You will learn about the complex landscape of manufacturing and commercialising cells for medical treatment from those who deliver them.
You will produce credible business plans for the application of cellular therapy in clinical settings, taking into consideration science, patient benefits, regulations and market laws.
You will learn to conduct investigations, analyse the results using various qualitative and quantitative methods and draw valid conclusions for commercialisation of cellular therapy.

Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) or a 2.1/first degree (or overseas equivalent) in relevant bioscience subject. Non-traditional qualifications will be considered on an individual basis.

Course programme
Courses are divided into modules. You will normally take modules totalling 180 credits.

You are required to take the following modules:
- Stem Cells in Cellular Therapies & Regenerative Medicine (45 credits)
- Cellular Therapies in Immunology (15 credits)
- Commercialisation of Cellular Therapy (45 credits)
- Clinical Drug Development (15 credits)
- Dissertation on business strategy development for cellular therapy (60 credits)
