Postgraduate education is intended to develop the skills of self-directed study, critical reflection and responsibility for your own learning. This module will provide you with the opportunity to develop such skills while allowing you to negotiate topics you wish to study.Initially the content will be negotiated between you and your academic supervisor. The content therefore will differ for each student undertaking the module.You will be provided with pre-module information which will give you information on how to approach this module and how to prepare your proposal.Your proposal will be reviewed by your academic supervisor to ensure that the proposed content, level and amount of work is appropriate and manageable within the module timeframe.There is no compulsory attendance for the module but you will be expected to discuss your proposal, learning plan and subsequent progress with your academic supervisor.It is acknowledged that you may choose to use the telephone or e-mail contact for these discussions. Applicants should hold an honours degree in radiography.Alternatively, applicants should hold a Diploma from the College of Radiographers or the equivalent from an international institution if the equivalent can lead to registration with the Health and Care Professions Council. English Requirements For those students whose first language is not English one of the following qualifications is also required:IELTS: 7.0Please note that due to changes in the UKVI's list of SELTs we are no longer able to accept TOEFL as evidence of English language for students who require a CAS as of April 2014.
