Course programme
The content of this course focuses on essential knowledge about grammar needed for all English teachers working in secondary schools today. This has been made even more important with the publication of the revised National Curriculum for English which focuses very heavily on grammar at both primary and secondary phases. It is also expected that this knowledge will also be required for teaching the new GCSE qualifications.
Through face-to-face teaching by experienced and expert teachers, participants gain essential knowledge and terminology related to this area. This is rarely covered in degree courses, even within language-based modules.
