Subject Knowledge Enhancement (SKE) courses are for pre-Initial Teacher Training (ITT) students who are in need of development of subject knowledge before starting ITT. All courses aim to provide participants with key areas of knowledge and understanding needed to teach the school curriculum in their subject area. They are for those starting PGCE, School Direct Tuition and School Direct Salaried courses.

Sessions run from 10.00- 4.00 with an hour for lunch
Sessions are likely to take place off site (off University premesis), however in some cases sessions could take place on Walsall Campus. More information can be found on the Physical Education Booster webpage

To have gained sufficient subject knowledge and understanding to begin Secondary Physical Education teacher training.
