The course is suitable for those that wish to learn how the Uniformed Public Services work. Those that are interested in a career in the emergency services, armed forces, judicial services or who wish to advance onto the Extended diploma in Uniformed Public Services. The Extended Diploma gives you a greater understanding of the Uniformed Public Services. This qualification carries UCAS points and can help you gain access to university. Students have gone onto study, politics, law and criminology. Gaining the equivalent of 180 UCAS points can help you enter officer training.

What will I study on the course?
You will further develop your skills to prepare you for progression to higher education or employment in the uniformed and public services industry. You will study units including teamwork, leadership, planning and response and criminology.
Throughout the course you will have activities with agencies which could include the: Army, RAF, Royal Navy, Emergency Services, and Outdoor Education.
