Substance Misuse

About the course

This qualification has been developed with the support of Addiction; the UK’s specialist drug and alcohol treatment charity. Over an eight week period you will study one day per week, leading to a substance misuse qualification that will help you gain knowledge and understanding of substance misuse, what triggers this, implications for social and emotional well-being and the impact upon society, self and others. You will gain an understanding of some of the key values and principles that underpin support offered to people misusing substances.
