The Master’s of Science in Supply Chain Management and Logistics degree program at Drexel LeBow develops professionals’ theoretical and practical knowledge to effectively lead the flow of goods and services in a complex, global business environment. Technological advances have changed how companies worldwide are competing. Supply chain management, logistics and operations are key functions through which companies can gain strategic advantage.
MS in Supply Chain Management students have access to resources including LeBow’s SAP Next Gen Lab, a lab that focuses on the exploration of disruptive technologies and design thinking and how to apply them to supply chain concepts. Students also learn SAP software skills and have access to courses in Python and R. Experiential learning and interaction with supply chain leaders and in-person exposure to industry processes are important tenants of this program.
This program is delivered through LeBow’s Decision Sciences and Management Information Systems department.

This dynamic graduate degree program for supply chain management is designed for students who wish to develop themselves as managers or specialists in the operations of industrial and service systems. Supply chain management and logistics stresses a thorough knowledge of the rapidly changing techniques in systems analysis, in addition to an appreciation of all other phases of business.

Course programme
All students in the Supply Chain Management and Logistics master’s program will be required to take a series of foundation courses in the management of operations and the quantitative methods that support analysis and decision making for supply chain and logistics operations.
After the common core, the students will choose one of the following tracks:
Industry Professional Track: Students that choose the professional track as part of the Drexel LeBow MS in Supply Chain Management program will study a range of topics based on practical management decisions over four different types of supply chains. It will prepare students for effective leadership in an increasingly complex, dynamic, global business environment. It prepares them for involvement in organizations with leaders from around the world to help shape strategies that inspire competitive advantage and business success.
Research Track: Students that choose the research track as part of the Drexel LeBow MS in Supply Chain Management program will dive deeper into the theoretical foundations of decision making in supply chains and prepares students for doctoral study through continued development of theory and models that advance the field. Research seminars led by top-notch faculty and industry professionals prepare students to enter PhD programs and become academic leaders.
In addition to a Master of Science degree in supply chain management, Drexel Lebow also offers an MBA program with a specialization in supply chain management and logistics for students who are looking for a more generalized business education but would like to gain more specialized knowledge in the area of logistics and supply chain management.
