The Supporting a Grieving Employee: A Manager’s Guide course is designed to provide managers and employees with a detailed understanding of bereavement policy and support in the workplace. It offers guidance on a range of topics from creating a safe space for employees to talk, to the signs and symptoms of traumatic grief.
Anyone who is suffering from bereavement needs time off work and support to recover, and this course discusses the rights of employees in regards to bereavement, from bereavement allowance to the different ways to support employees returning from bereavement leave. It will also familiarise learners with the stages of grief and bereavement to help speed up the healing process.
