Course Aims:
This revised Level II qualification has the benefit of having different 'routes' to enable you to specialise in specific therapies or in general beauty therapy. The routes offered will be subject to demand.

Course Content:
General Route

• Improve & Maintain Facial Skin Condition
• Provide Eyelash & Eyebrow Treatments
• Remove Hair Using Waxing Techniques
• Provide Manicure Treatment
• Provide Pedicure Treatment

Nail Services Route

• Provide Manicure Treatment
• Provide Pedicure Treatment
• Extend & Maintain Nails
• Provide Nail Art Service

Options are available for all routes.

Progression Opportunities:
Level II provides direct access onto SVQ Level III Beauty Therapy in an appropriate route.

Career Potential:
You can progress into employment or self-employment within the field of beauty therapy or nail services.

Course Assessment:
A combination of continual assessment with independent assessment. Practical skills and competencies are assessed by summative assessments, which are completed by carrying out treatments in a commercial salon.
