The 21st Century has been called the “Systems Century”. We live in an increasingly complex, joined-up and rapidly changing world. This requires individuals and teams to operate in interdisciplinary, innovative ways by applying a modern, integrated through life approach to solving problems and delivering and sustaining solutions.The course aims to equip delegates to understand and deal with these systems challenges. It is organised into several parts that progressively address aspects of systems and systems engineering including elements of process, understanding systems, organisational issues and topics associated with the competencies and behaviours of the people involved.

Course programme

Course structure The five day course includes lectures and practical exercises in group sessions to take forward and practice concepts from lectures. There will be discussion of case studies for lessons learned (good and bad) from major systems projects showing application for Systems Engineering.

  • Understand the fundamentals of Systems and a Systems Engineering approach and the challenges they must meet.
