Tacho
The Tachograph & Drivers Hours course is a mixture of classroom based theory and video presentation.
Tachograph covers drivers charts, completing and recording data, analysing, MOT testing, re-calibration together with legal requirements for employers and employees.
Drivers hours will include single and double manning, breaks from driving, daily and weekly rest periods, other duty time and record keeping.
The theoretical test is normally carried out at the Red Rose Centre. As an alternative, this can be arranged at clients premises, subject to suitable facilities.
On successful completion, students will receive a Certificate of Competence in Tachograph and Drivers Hours.
Regulations
Anyone employed to drive a vehicle over 3.5 tonnes within the E.U. must comply with all regulations governing Tachograph and Drivers Hours.
