Overview At a glance Learn how to plan, design, conduct, assess and review training and assessment. A must have for any trainer. This program specifies the competencies required to deliver training in an industry area or area of subject matter expertise, and to conduct competency-based assessment in a range of contexts. Application Mode Distance; On-campus Courses/Units Ten (10) units must be successfully completed, seven (7) Core unit and three (3) Elective units. Units are delivered in three (3) clusters. Offerings Distance Education with Optional workshops
This course is available by Distance Education with optional workshops.
Workshops are available at CQUniversity Mackay City campus and Rockhampton City campus.
Each workshop covers one of the clusters. To successfully complete the Certificate IV in full all 3 clusters and the TAELLN411 unit must be completed.
Students to enrol into one cluster at a time. Students must enrol in all units listed under each cluster.
Distance students require strong self motivation and must have 4-6 hours per week available for study for each unit. This course is self paced so students must have sound literacy and numeracy skills. This course is delivered by distance education so students must have access to a computer and the internet and have sound computer skills. Parts of the assessment must be observed. You can organise your own observer (who must be a qualified assessor), film the training sessions or a CQU observer can be organised.
