About this course

The Bachelor’s degree program in Technical Mathematics is a broad, hands-on base-knowledge degree program focusing on key mathematical concepts and theories. Students learn about fundamental concepts, particularly in the subject areas of analysis, algebra, geometry, functional analysis, probability theory, numerical mathematics, and optimization.

Students actively use computers from the very beginning, focusing on mathematical modeling, algorithmic aspects (numerical and symbolic arithmetic), and practical computer science, in particular.

In addition to a strong base-knowledge in mathematics, students acquire skills such as precise expression, structured thinking, and learning how to present their work correctly in a precise, logical manner. Graduates of the Bachelor's degree program in Technical Mathematics have the unique ability to apply mathematical theories and methods to address real-world situations and issues.
