History

Adam Proto and Joanna Kerr are the Course Directors and have over 25 years experience working in the event and entertainment industry. During this time, Adam has worked with the biggest brands in the World including F1, the World Rally, Rolls Royce, AMEX. Adam was a trusted advisor to the Intel /BMW F1 team for three years and was the first to produce a snowboard championship using real snow in the UK. He was also the founder of the biggest family festival in the South of England and is currently running Terbell Ltd, a successful event company in its own right. Joanna Kerr is the Course Director. She has over 15 years experience and is Director of Turquoise Blue Ltd. Joanna is tri-lingual and has managed international events for brands such as Bacardi Martini and American Express. Joanna has experience running roadshows, conferences, product launches and corporate hospitality. Adam and Jo are a great team. They continually strive to stay at the top of their game, introducing current themes to lectures and keeping their students on their toes.

Advantages of studying here

Class sizes are small (maximum 30 students) allowing trainers to spend time with the students. All trainers currently work in events and are able to bring personal real life case studies to their lectures. If required, Terbell offer a placement and career mentoring services as an extra. They have contacts throughout the industry and have placed students at all sorts of companies, venues and Agencies varying from Jack Morton to Arc stream to Party planners to Earls court exhibition centre. Work experience is offered to students as opportunities arise throughout the course and beyond. Terbell have their own student Linked in site for work opportunities.

We run 3 courses a year; January, April and September. Courses are designed to provide participants with the opportunity to develop practical skills within one of the most exciting and developing industries today. The course has been designed and is lectured by professionals who are currently working in events and see the benefit in investing in the future by passing on their knowledge.
