What you will learn

On completion of the course the delegates will:

  • Understand the requirement for test arena set up
  • Be able to discuss the differences between UN and IM testing
  • Understand equipment requirements for measuring explosives for performance
  • Derive statistical errors associated with experimental data
  • Have an awareness of UK approaches to testing procedures.

  • Practical Planning, preparation, testing and reporting of trials requirements.

This short course, which will be taught at MSc standard, is one of the modules that comprise the MSc Explosives Ordnance Engineering.
