Liverpool Hope's full single honours degree in Theology provides the opportunity for the in-depth study of the core sub-disciplines of the subject including Biblical Studies, Church History, Systematics and Philosophical Theology, and in all of these areas you will be taught by highly-qualified (to doctoral level) and published academics. A particular feature of this course is the opportunity to learn biblical Greek from scratch and to undertake study in core skills in biblical Hebrew. At Hope we have a commitment to theology as a core and progressive academic subject in its own right and we have invested very heavily in staff and resources to enable our students to gain a top-quality education in the subject which is research-informed and undertaken within a highly supportive and nurturing environment. We are particularly proud of our graduates, the classification of some of our research as 'world-leading' in the most recent research assessment exercise, and the fact that in a recent National Student Survey we were ranked among the top in the country for student satisfaction.
