It is generally agreed that all interpreters should undertake CPD as part of their professional development and to improve their skills, and this is mandatory for all NRCPD interpreters. However, for many interpreters finding the time or the right combination of activities to complete their CPD can be difficult.
Our two-day course for 2014 incorporates a range of activities that will help any working interpreter to improve their skills and develop their knowledge base and meets the NRCPD requirement of 12 structured points for this year. Our programme also includes a set of exercises and self-study materials that will assist you in achieving the required 12 unstructured hours to meet your full CPD requirements for 2014.
Activities include:
· Discussion groups
· Practical exercises
· Reflective work
· Self-development techniques
The course is open to all interpreters interested in CPD. It is a brilliant opportunity to improve all aspects of your personal and professional development, while at the same time making sure that all your CPD obligations are met through one comprehensive programme.
The programme will take place at our premises in Alvechurch, Birmingham on the following dates:-
