Course Aims:
The aim of the course is to show students how to build up a picture of their family history back to 1800 using a variety of reseasrch skills.

Course Content:
During the course students will look at a variety of sources to build up their family Tree including:

Personal mementos

Diaries, letters, photographs, birth, marriage and death Certificates.

Legal documents

Census records

The Parish Chest

Non-conformist records
