Course programme

Course structure This course is a 5-day standalone course which is supplemented by the broader range of courses offered by the Department. In particular the programme of courses offered in the area of Hybrid Electric Vehicles is seen as an important but separate area of powertrain technology. The course consists of a mix of lectures and demonstrations of component and system operation with copies of presentation material.
What you will learn This course offers an efficient way of up-skilling technical staff in the rapidly growing area of automotive transmission engineering. On completion of the full course programme delegates should have a comprehensive understanding of the technology and be able to make a significant contribution to design and development teams working in the automotive sector.
