About this course

Standard entry to this course requires one reference, 90% attendance at your last place of work or study, and 5 GCSEs including English and maths at grade 4 or above. A level 2 diploma in Travel and Tourism is desirable but not essential.

Course programme

Year 1

The course can be studied over one year as a qualification in its own right (90 credit diploma). If you are successful in this first year, you may choose to return for a second year to complete the extended diploma. Subjects studied include investigating travel and tourism; the business of travel and tourism; the UK as a destination; customer service in travel and tourism; and European travel destinations. Alongside your BTEC studies, you will also complete the NCFE (level 2) Cabin Crew Services qualification.
