About this course

Standard entry to this course requires one reference. It is desirable that you can demonstrate 90% attendance. A GCSE in both English and maths at grade 1/2 (E/F/G) or above is required.



Consideration will be given to all applicants over the age of 19 who do not hold formal English and maths qualifications.

Course programme

Year 1

During the course, you will learn about working in the travel industry from an overall perspective. You will be looking at how tourism companies plan promotion and sales and the importance of great customer service. You will also be planning trips for specific customer types, learning about personal effectiveness and finally looking at financial management of the industry.

Additional information

You will be assessed by report writing, leaflets, displays and presentations. You will also be expected to take part in role-play assessment.
