Course Structure
This can be a one-year course (award) or a two-year course (certificate). Both courses are full-time. The programme consists of both mandatory and optional units that look at a variety of aspects of this industry. These include:

Qualification Aims
BTEC National award qualification (one year) is equivalent to one A level; BTEC National Certificate is the equivalent of two A levels. In addition to seeking employment within the industry, students could also enrol on higher HND and degree courses.

Assessments/Examinations
Assessment is continuous and encompasses coursework, assignments, projects and external assessments.
