  • Marketing Travel and Tourism products and services
  • Handling air passengers
  • Roles and responsibilities of holiday representatives
  • Visitor attractions
  • Residential study visit
  • Investigating the cruise sector
  • Special interest tourism
  • Sustainable tourism development
Key Skills will also form part of your final qualifications. These are transferable skills which play an essential role in developing personal effectiveness for adult and working life. These are Communication; ICT and Numeracy.

Additional Opportunities
Learners will have the opportunity to gain other qualifications such as English Speaking Board Certificate which will give you the confidence to speak in front of an audience and resort representative. As part of the course, learners will be required to participate in compulsory study visits and purchase a College polo shirt / t shirt. These costs will be confirmed at interview.

Assessment
BTEC National programmes are assessed by completing a range of coursework set throughout the year.
