Programme Features:

• The course has a strong link with local employers. This ensures that students gain a realistic view of the demands and the trends of the industry • Students will develop the skills, knowledge and understanding relevant to employment in this sector through the study of 18 units over a 2 year period • The overall aim of the course is to provide a broad based introduction to the study of travel and tourism • Students with appropriate qualifications can choose to study an AS/A Level subjects in conjunction with this course (subject to timetable restrictions) • Students could do a combination of 6 units alongside an AS/A Level subject • Additional qualifications such as the Welsh Baccalaureate, Literacy and Numeracy skills may also be studied alongside the main qualification.
