About this course
You must be 16 years or older and you must have obtained five GCSE passes at grade C or above. Alternatively, a merit at intermediate GNVQ or a BTEC First Diploma is also acceptable.

The BTEC National Certificate provides a framework within which you can learn and develop business skills and knowledge.
The Programme Content
Units include: The Travel and Tourism Industry; Customer Service; Marketing; Travel and Geography.
Work experience is part of the programme.
In addition to classroom based lessons, there will be the opportunity to practise and learn new skills in practical situations including work placements.
In the second year of the programme students are required to plan and participate in an overseas residential; previous trips have included: Egypt, Canada, Africa, Portugal etc.
