Depending on the destination there will be costs of up to 350 for a residential visit.
The Programme
The BTEC National Certificate provides a framework within which you can learn and develop business skills and knowledge.
The Programme Content
Units include: The Travel and Tourism Industry; Customer Service; Marketing; Travel and Geography.
Work experience is part of the programme.
In addition to classroom based lessons, there will be the opportunity to practise and learn new skills in practical situations including work placements.
In the second year of the programme students are required to plan and participate in an overseas residential; previous trips have included: Egypt, Canada, Africa, Portugal etc.

The Tourism course provides you with the knowledge, skills and attitudes that will be required in a variety of business occupations. Some students progress to further study at University; others enter the world of work as club reps for tour operators, flight attendants or in administration and marketing occupations.
