Welcome to the Ulster Business School, which is one of the faculties of the University. With approximately 140 academic staff, and over 5,000 student registrations, the School is one of the largest providers of business and management education and training in Britain and Ireland. In itself, size does not guarantee quality, so it is with great pleasure that I can report on the outcomes of the United Kingdom’s 2008 Research Assessment Exercise, and past Quality Assurance Agency subject reviews, as they relate to our School.The School covers three, nationally determined, subject groups: * Accounting * Business and Management; and * Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure
