The programme comprises eight compulsory modules, five at Level 4 and three at Level 5, including a 40 credit point Work Based Learning module, totalling 150 credits of study with the remaining 90 credits of study achieved through Learner's chosen options.

On progression successful Learners may progress to Year 2 of the BSc Honours Degree in Creative Technologies at Ulster University (Magee) or BA Honours Degree in Media Studies and Production (Coleraine). Successful Learners may also transfer to other universities to complete the degree.
