Ulster University Foundation Degree in Financial Services Management - Year 1

Learners will be assessed using a variety of methods including coursework, and/or examination. A number of techniques appropriate to the profession are also used to measure Learners progress including observational assessments, interviews, research methods and presentations.

The overall aim of this programme is to provide a sufficiently broad education in the Financial Services sector that will ensure the degree holders are well equipped for further career enhancement. Learners will attain a combination of technical, academic knowledge and transferable skills that employers locally are demanding. This is currently a skill area that has substantial employment potential.

Progression from this Foundation Degree may take the form of either a career as a professional within the Financial Services Industry or the subsequent pursuit of a higher level academic qualification, for example Ulster University BSc Hons Degree in Business with Accounting or Ulster University BA in Business Administration.
