Are you looking for a quick and efficient way to learn critical, transferable maths skills that’ll help you take on further education, employment and everyday life like a champ? If so, our Functional Skills Maths Level 2 ideally develops all those essential work-related, problem-solving and situational maths ‘skills for life’ everyone needs to succeed in the real world. Equivalent to GCSE Maths, you gain knowledge and understanding of practical maths skills that are applicable to various everyday contexts and situations.
One major benefit of Functional Skills Maths is that it prepares you for life after study. Whereas GCSE test academic ability, functional skills give you the chance to learn and practise practical skills that all employers are currently looking for. A breadth of colleges and universities also accept and trust them – comparing them to GCSE. Better yet, functional skills are written in a way that’s easier to interpret and they’re quicker to achieve. You can expect to learn all the main aspects of Maths. From organising numerical data into tables or charts to drawing simple diagrams, recognising number systems like fractions, and calculating the area of shapes.
Strong Maths and English skills are super important in today’s world. Therefore, we recommend grouping a Functional Skills Maths with a Functional Skills English Level 2. Get the best of both worlds with two essential qualifications that’ll give you a great head start in life. To make sure you achieve your goal, you’ll be given strong tutor support and 4 practice exam papers before you sit your final, required exam at one of our centres.
