CACHE - Enhanced learning programme

Revised Early Years Foundation Course. This short online course is suitable for qualified practitioners or those familiar with the original EYFS. The course provides an insight into the background of the EYFS before looking at the revised EYFS in greater depth. Practitioners are encouraged to research the statutory framework and guidance documentation through guided reading, videos, activities and powerpoint presentations.

This short online course is suitable for qualified practitioners or those familiar with the original EYFS.

Students looking to enrol onto this course should meet the following criteria:
Be aged 16 Years or above
Possess a solid knowledge of the english language
Have access to a PC and the internet for the duration of the whole course
Basic computer skills Have a genuine desire to succeed

This course provides successful students with a completion certificate from CACHE and their enhanced learning program. Awarding body CACHE is recognised as an awarding organisation by the qualification regulators for England, Wales and Northern Ireland, who are: the office of the qualifications and examinations regulator (Ofqual) in England, the Welsh Government and the council for curriculum, examinations and assessment (CCA) in Northern Ireland.

Students are able to enrol online at any time of the year. No specific enrolment dates.

Topics Covered

This short course is suitable for new early years practitioners as well as those who are familiar with the original EYFS. The course provides a brief background to the EYFS before going on to look at the revised EYFS in more detail.

Practitioners will be encouraged to explore the Statutory Framework and the accompanying guidance documentation through a combination of guided reading, video clips, practical activities and PowerPoint presentation. Recommendations for further study and reflection are also included. A work placement is not essential for completion of this course

Assessment

Students will progress through a series of topics online through our student portal. At then end of the course students will complete a multiple choice quiz type assessment. If you dont complete first time you can try the assessment again at no extra charge. Upon completion students can download and print a college certificate whilst awaiting their CACHE endorsed certification.
