What I would highlight: Very good friends in the pub (Sherbrooke, Le Plateau) MTL There are many places to have a drink. Tip: If you try to "micro brewery" they (are brewing their own beer), is everywhere in the city.

What I would highlight: Since French is my mother tongue, I had no problem with the language, you can still vary considerably, there was a need to get used to the special nature of the "Quebec". However, I loved it!

What I would highlight: The nightlife is good, and cheap, which are about 15 percent is "gratitude", expect big tips ... for me very difficult, as a Dutch cheap! :)

What I would highlight: I, we were very lucky to find accommodation for my first weekend of MTL. However, I think that depending on the location where you want to be, it is not difficult to find good accommodation for several months.
