Description

The University of Aberdeen is the fifth oldest University in the UK and has a long tradition of excellence in teaching and research. In 2002, it established the University of Aberdeen Business School and became a member of the Association of Business Schools. Since the 1990s, the University has been running a number of successful graduate programmes. The primary aim of all our programmes is to provide you with the qualification and knowledge for effective management careers in both the private and public sectors.Highly qualified academics with extensive expertise in teaching at the postgraduate and post-experience courses teach on our graduate programmes. They are all pursuing novel research programmes to an international standard, which are drawn upon in teaching. Expertise is drawn from a range of disciplines within the University, including Economics, Accountancy, Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Change and Innovation, and Property Investment. The intention is to combine a foundation in business disciplines combined with more specialist options and culminating in either a major piece of research (in the form of a dissertation) or an intensive summer school and critical studies paper. Our programmes draw on the experience and expertise of academics from the University of Aberdeen Business School alongside visiting scholars from other reputable Business Schools. In previous years we have welcomed colleagues from business schools in the USA, Canada, Norway, Australia and New Zealand. The composition of visiting academics teaching on our programmes varies on an annual basis and enables us to provide a broader and more international learning experience. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require further information.
