What I would highlight:
It is very difficult to make friends living away from the student area. I think the experience is completely different living in hall. Would suggest this to all.

I took one of the cheapest accomdations available. It costs 88 pounds per week. The contract is for 42 week, so you have to pay 3700 pounds just for accomodation.

What I would highlight:
It has been such a fantastic oppurtunity to meet all sort of new people and try many new things! As well as being a beautiful place to live, it is also fairly cheap to live and the prices of rented accomodation are cost effective.

You meet a lot of new people. As an exchange student a place in a student accomodation is guaranteed. The university offers a lot of additional to plan to boost your career.

I lived in a student accomodation which is more expensive than a private one. In addition I needed about 100 pounds in the beginning per week.

The level (especially of the mathematics lectures) could be a bit higher. They expect you to take 30 ECTS per semester. Its good overall. Thanks a lot.

The research environment between postgraduate students is very healthy and we share ideas to improve each others work, which is very effective. Because in my field of training and expertise, here I could find the best supervisors to help me with following the right path in my studies.

Enjoy the city as much as you can. The university has lot of societies, join one or more, you will meet interesting people and make lot of friends! And go to Lake district! I simply enjoyed.

What I would highlight:
food is cheap, nightlife is quite expensive. If you rent an house in good position, as i did, you didn't even need a bus card. And if you take a university residence you will have free acces to gym, refectory etc.

What I would highlight:
The quality of teaching at Bangor University is excellent and the support students get (especially international students) is outstanding. Everyone seems to truly care about you, you can easily contact the staff in person.

You can just focus on one text specifically whilst the courses which is kind of sad. On the other side you get a really good input and it's kind of a "must" to discuss and improve you're academic skills.
