What I would highlight:
If you live with a family, it is easier to start your experience in Australia. Many students, however, choose the accommodations provided by the University, which in general are cheaper than in Germany.

The Australian accent is considerably different from the English you learn at school or at university. Anyway, you suddenly get used to it.

What I would highlight:
This has been the best year of my life. If I had known how great my stay at Sydney University would be, I would have had a longer trip. In this university there are 35,000 students, of which 10% are foreigners. Its multicultural population is fantastic. An incredible experience.

What I would highlight:
There are many options to save money, you just have to spend time looking for options. Online travel deals are especially interesting. Internet is a good tool to get it.

What I would highlight:
Actually, then, nothing. People are very kind, you will learn a lot in the city when you come. You do not need to suffer for anything. The university of Sidney is really good and if you are thinking about coming, reserve a fast accommodation, since it is difficult to find a good one. Do it before you come, do not wait any longer.
