Local students will always be a help. If you like a pint every so often (and in london it is quite often) the LSE bar is fantastic as is the bar in high holborn apartments. As far as nite clubs are concerned, pick up a Timeout London. It is the Londerners BIBLE to going out at nite.

Highest academic standards in a fascinating city.One should be prepared for the high expenses. Try to get a scholarship if possible- it makes life easier. London is too big, therefore real student life.
