Course programme

Course Objectives:

The Building Regulations Part G3 define unvented hot water systems as a 'controlled service' and as such, it is a legal requirement that all unvented hot water installations are notified to the local Building Control department. There are two methods of notification available to an engineer, the first one involves the submission of a Building Control Notice and involves the payment of a fee, the second option is to undertake a recognised qualification that allows the installer to self-certificate any systems installed.

The course covers all aspects of unvented hot water installation including legislative requirements and safety issues, as well as the correct installation, commisioning and servicing of systems.
